Another life lesson learned...

Owen needed a haircut. I tried and I failed. I hate paying to get my kids hair cut. $13....what a rip off. So I decided to go to the beauty college...I can do $5. Well, I shoulda known that was not a good idea when last time I was there I watched a student take an hour to do a man's cut (I felt so bad for him!). I carry Owen in kicking a screaming because he doesn't want a haircut. The first 10 minutes he had the cutest pouty look on his face (I so wish I had my camera!). The next 40 he cried. And of course, because she was so inexperienced, it took 50 minutes to cut his hair. You woulda thought we were at the dentist as much as he cried! Lesson learned...Next time I will fork out the $13 to have someone who can get it done in 20 minutes...

Funny, I just cut Logan's hair last night and was kicking myself for even trying! Sometimes that $13 is well spent!

Angi, I feel the same way and it took me a long time to get confident with the trimmers. But next time you should call my friend Misty. She lives in Lindon and has a salon in her house. I know she charges less than $13.00 for kids. She's a single mom and would love the business. Her number is 830-1652.

It's buzz season for my boys! Last week I lined them all up and buzzed them (#2 clippers). Looked really short then but now it's perfect! There's a place on State in Orem I took then to once-I think it was like $6 and I just walked in with them all no wait it wasn't bad. Four cute spanish speaking gals sheared them while they watched Nacho Libre (of course Ky was repeating all the lines)
