Gingerbread Train

I wasn't really sure if we were going to do a gingerbread house again this year since last years didn't turn out to be as fun as I'd hoped and since it lasted about 30 seconds but we needed an activity one family night so I ran out and found this gingerbread train. I knew with my little train enthusiast in the house it would be a hit and it was. This year things went much smoother. I put the train together (and it actually stayed together) and the kids did the rest.

We did have to hide it in the oven to keep Ian out of it. I felt sad that we couldn't just leave it out on display. Then one day, we came home from a date to find chunks of gingerbread all over the house. Ian was on a sugar high and the poor, poor gingerbread train was no more. At least this one lasted 5 days!
