Today is Ian's last day in the autistic unit. Imagine how disheartening it was to hear that the autistic unit is no longer a good fit for your autistic son. Where do you go from there? He will be starting a in a life skills unit on January 4th...his 10th birthday. I am sad. I am scared. I am frustrated. But I am also excited, anxious and hopeful. Maybe this is just what he needs to see some progress... Maybe this is just what he needs to succeed...God does nothing by chance. Here is hoping for a smooth and successful transition.
