One of the things I'm most thankful for...

...is my food storage. I know it might seem strange to some and maybe even wasteful to others but I call it my own little insurance policy. No, I'm not preparing for the Armageddon. I preparing for those lean times and I'm sure they will come. Besides, it's nice having my own little grocery store in the basement. I almost never run out of anything and have to run to the store. If we had a storm, earthquake or other emergency we have more than enough to get us through. Besides, it's something our prophets have asked us to do. I'm no survivalist by any means but I feel really good knowing that my kids will not go hungry if something prevents us from going to the store.
