...Two families lives can be changed for ever. Our friends lost their four-year-old son today. He was hit by a 15-year-old driver from their neighborhood. Although it's frustrating that he should not have been driving alone, I know his life will never be the same either. Sharon watched as her little Cooper was ran over by the minivan this boy was driving. You can see the whole report HERE
After all of that the family then had to help their 6 year old celebrate his birthday without his little brother. My heart is breaking.
Ted and Sharon were in my ward before I married Adam. They also lived across the street from my SIL Shannon for several years and the families were pretty close. They were in my temple preparation class and were sealed about the time we were married. They were such a fun family and Sharon was always a crack up!
Now their baby is gone and I am so sad for them. What a blessing for them to have been sealed in the temple, to know they can be with little Cooper again. My heart goes out for Ted and Sharon and their three boys.

4 people not afraid to say something:
Oh, how sad. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through. Good thing they have friends like you who can help them through. Sad.
Ang--
I heard this on the news and it broke my heart then. Knowing a little more about this dear family it breaks my heart more. I am so sorry.
Oh, you knew them. It is a terrible thing that has occurred. I am so sorry you had a close connection, because the sadness I felt was harsh. I can't even imagine what the family is feeling. Love you. k
This is one of those things that just makes you sick. It only takes once, one lapse in judgement, one glaring windshield, one moment you wish you could rewind. My heart breaks for this family and the community.
Missed you on Friday, see you soon.
