I love a new year. I love the chance to reflect and set new goals. I'm really good at setting goals (not so good at achieving them) and I do it several times a year...not just at New Years. I think that personal improvement is something we should constantly work on. I am so excited about our Stake's 2009 goals and I can't wait to get started.

— 1,000,000 Names (family indexing) Individually- one batch a week
— 1,000,000 Pages (Book of Mormon) Individually- read the Book of Mormon
— 1,000,000 Minutes (service, missionary work, temple) Individually-90 minutes a month
— 1,000,000 Dollars (reduce debt, or save) Individually-$1000 reduction or savings
— 1,000,000 Pounds (food storage) Individually-Each family store 1 year of basics.

I am really grateful for the leadership in our Stake and I know these goals were inspired. I am going to work really hard to follow and I know I will be blessed in my efforts.
