So previously I posted about how I love being in the hustle and bustle of Christmas. I take it back. If I have to go back to Walmart one more time before Christmas I may just have to jump in front of a moving bus. Seriously. Even if I chose the shortest line, I end up being in the LONGEST line. And forget trying to return anything. It took me over 45 minutes to return something yesterday. And after I had waited those 45 mins and then did my shopping and stood in line another 20 minutes (like I said...I chose the WRONG line! Even though it was the 20 items or less line!UGH!) I realized they had overcharged me. I bought some biscuits...you know the ones that are in packs of four for $1.68...well, she charged me for 4! That's almost $5! I looked at the customer service line and wanted to die. But...I'm a cheapskate so $5 is a big Deal! Who wants to pay $8 bucks for biscuits? They're not even that good! Luckily I flagged down a worker who helped me out without having to wait. Seriously though...I'm done with walmart until AFTER Christmas. Just thinking about it makes my heart race and the walls start closing in...Xanax please!

5 people not afraid to say something:
Oh my goodness, I can hardly stand going to Walmart any time of the year.. Christmas is so much worse. Long lines, HORRIBLE parking, crowded.
They should have a drive thru, you place an order online, you go, and go to the drive thru.
BUT only a select few get to have this great option.
Like just us.
:)
Just thinking about that gives me anxiety. It also makes me happy that I don't work in retail anymore.
He,he,he. I haven't even begun yet. This year Neil and I resolved to eliminate all debt except our house payment. In the process we forgot to save a Christmas fund. So payday is Friday and I'm going to have a crash shopping weekend. Wanna join me?
Ugh! Yeah I hate Walmart and shopping there. Seems like they ALWAYS overcharge us there too. I read an article that it happens to 3 out of 5 people and only 1 of them goes to get it back. The funny thing is whenever I try to tell the cashier it's wrong they act so surprised, hold up everything, then you still have to go to customer service. I think they do it on purpose to drive up their bottom line. I'll stick to online shopping!
I'm glad you finally came to your sense about the hustle and bustle :). But even if I start my shopping in September, there's just no getting out of the crowds because there's always bread, milk, and last minute items to buy! Snow and Walmart are the worst combination! It's that love-hate relationship again - for both Walmart and snow!
