I heeded some of the advice given and made the kids put away the millions of dishes I washed by hand. (ok, I exagerate) Adam also came home and cracked the whip and made them clean the family room. After Adam took the kids out to his moms and I worked, worked, worked. Sadly there is still lots and lots of laundry and lots and lots of organizing to do. Overall it looks a lot better and I feel a lot better. It's amazing what that does for your mood! I honestly don't know how why I let it get this way. I know it has a lot to do with the depression I've had. I've never been the best housekeeper anyway but I feel like it's really gotten worse over the last year or so. I've tried a couple of programs (motivated moms, flylady) and they SHOULD keep me caught up but...
Anyway, I'm starting again. I'm going to spend the day working hard to get the house clean so that it's that much easier to keep up with. Wish me luck?
